SmartSolar MPPT 100/50
A solar charger is supplied with energy via solar modules and then stores it in batteries. Using the latest and fastest technology, the SmartSolar maximises this energy production and intelligently directs it to fully charge the batteries in as short a time as possible. The SmartSolar maintains the functionality of the battery and thus extends its service life.

The SmartSolar charge controller even recharges a heavily discharged battery. It can operate with a battery voltage of just 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulphated or otherwise damaged.

MPPT: Ultra-fast maximum power point tracking
By continuously monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) modules, MPPT technology ensures that all available energy is drawn from the modules and stored. The benefit of this is most noticeable when the sky is partly cloudy and the light intensity is constantly changing.

Remote monitoring and control
You can control and monitor the extensive functions of your SmartSolar MMPT charger remotely by attaching a Bluetooth® dongle and pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your system is connected to the Victron Remote Management Internet Portal (VRM), you have full access to your MPPT at any time and from anywhere. Both services are available free of charge.

Load output
The 'Intelligent Load Output' function prevents damage caused by using "dead" batteries. You can configure the voltage at which the SmartSolar disconnects a load - preventing excessive discharge of your batteries. And here's the trick: SmartSolar attempts to recharge the battery to 100 % every day. If this is not possible - e.g. in bad weather - it raises the voltage value for disconnection every day until it is successful.
