The HDS 166 antenna set, consisting of a flat antenna, satellite tripod, adapter joint, 15 m coaxial cable and carry bag for the manual satellite receiver, is an excellent alternative to the fully automatic, fixed rotary unit.
The BAS 66 flat antenna is very suitable for setting and searching for satellites with the help of a smartphone and a compass app.

The antenna can be positioned in three simple steps:
1. Take the settings from the enclosed azimuth/elevation table.
2. Open the compass app, place the smartphone on the flat antenna and set the inclination (elevation) of the antenna.
3. Determine the satellite position with the spirit level app and turn the antenna in that direction.
