Allows the BC 260 drawbar carrier to be folded down for unhindered opening of the storage compartment on the caravan. The fold-down adapter is attached between the sliding mechanism and the bike carrier. The locking mechanism is released by means of a cable that is attached between the fold-down adapter and the bike carrier folds upwards even when loaded.
