Awnings and canopies are a useful addition to mobile homes and very practical both on summer holidays and when camping in the winter. Because they are very exposed to wind and weather, dirt and algae are unavoidable. But if your awning or canopy is always set up, you naturally also want it to look nice and clean. However, removing dirt and algae is a tedious task for many campers and garden enthusiasts. What’s more, no aggressive or abrasive substances should be used for cleaning. Such substances could damage the fabric and even destroy the protective film. This is exactly where awiwa canvas, the microbiological awning and canopy cleaner, comes into play. The cleaner works almost automatically and does not contain any aggressive chemicals, which means that it does not damage materials or fade colours. awiwa canvas can be used on natural and synthetic materials (linen, cotton, polyacrylic, polyester, PVC fabric etc.)
Gentle cleaning without aggressive chemicals

awiwa canvas was specially developed to remove algae and verdigris from awnings, canopies, sun sails, parasols, boat covers, boat tarpaulins etc. Our awning and canopy cleaner removes unsightly dirt and, with regular use, prevents new grime from forming. The awning and canopy cleaner uses natural microorganisms for cleaning and removing algae and is therefore organic and environmentally friendly. The cleaner is chlorine and acid-free, which means that it can also be used on metals. Harmless to humans, animals and the environment.
Simple application

It is very easy to apply. Shake the awning and canopy cleaner thoroughly before use. For best results, coarse dirt should be removed from the material with a soft broom, hand brush or soft brush. In the case of heavy soiling, it is best to apply undiluted awiwa canvas with a soft brush or a spray bottle. Carefully rub or spray the cleaner on the awning or canopy and leave to work. Don't rinse – just let it dry. Depending on the degree of soiling, the grime disappears within approx. two weeks. The dirt usually disappears on its own. In the case of heavy soiling, brush down the material once the cleaner has been left for the required application time and then apply the cleaner again. In the case of light soiling, awiwa canvas can be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:4 and applied as described above. The concentrate makes up to 5 litres of ready-to-use mixture and keeps your awnings, canopies, sails and much more clean and tidy.
