Introducing the Roam 5G, the 5G RV router is the ultimate solution for WiFi travel in your caravan or campervan. The Roam 5G was designed to be even faster and more powerful than our popular Maxview Roam and Roam X systems. Because this 5G router for the mobile home is fully 5G-capable, i. H. the antenna is a 4×4 MiMo. It has 4 cables instead of 2, meaning you can access the maximum speeds that 5G allows. The Maxview Roam 5G includes everything you need to bring super-fast internet to the whole family. It is ideal for very intensive internet use and was specially developed for vehicles such as motorhomes and campervans. The Roam 5G product is the third in our 4G/5G WLAN system series. The ultimate solution for very demanding internet users, with the latest 5G technology (subject to 5G coverage.) 5G technology is not yet deployed across Europe and is not yet available in most areas. If there is no 5G coverage in a certain location, the RV 5G router will connect to a 4G network while still providing a fast and reliable connection to the Internet.
The data streams of the Roam 5G router for the motorhome
With a 4 × 4 MIMO antenna, the data streams of 4G and 5G connections are increased by up to 100 percent compared to a 2 × 2 MIMO antenna. However, with a 5G router, data streams of up to 1800 Mbps can still be implemented with a 2 × 2 MIMO antenna. Please note: The 4×4 MIMO antenna comes with 4 x SMA cables. The 2 × 2 MIMO antenna comes standard with 2 SMA cables. MIMO stands for Multiple Input, Multiple Output.

The Roam 5G RV Router provides a secure and reliable internet hotspot perfect for deploying RV WiFi.
- 4G/5G Signal - Primarily designed to use 4G/5G cellular data, the Roam 5G creates a reliable WiFi hotspot in and around your vehicle. With the powerful roam antenna, you can still use the Internet even when the signal conditions are poor, where your smartphone already has a bad network or no network at all. The roam antenna can already be used in a future-proof manner for 5G reception.
- WiFi Source - If a direct WiFi source is available, the Roam 5G router can also be used to connect to an existing WiFi network and generate a custom hotspot. This secondary function ensures that the SIM card's data is only used when needed. However, please note that the WLAN reception on the campsites is often very weak and if a large number of devices are logged into the network, sometimes no reception is possible at all.
- Caution: Wi-Fi sources that require connection through a captive portal are not supported.
