Manoeuvring becomes very easy with the Caratec mirror monitor. The image from the reversing camera is right in the intuitive field of vision. The guide lines, which can be adjusted by remote control, also help to correctly judge distances to obstacles and thus avoid expensive damage to the motorhome. The integrated 10.9 cm (4.3”) monitor has a very high maximum brightness, making it easy to read. In addition, undesired reflections, e.g. from sunlight at the position of the mirror, are significantly lower than with conventional monitors. The monitor switches on automatically when reverse gear is engaged, while driving it can be easily switched on using the switch below the mirror surface. The brightness regulates itself automatically and can also be adjusted. The special 4 mm thick mirror glass with “Third Surface Reflector Technology” is also used in automotive original equipment and ensures the best view, both as a mirror and in monitor mode. Installation is very easy thanks to the vehicle-specific bracket and wiring harness. A remote control, for example for setting the parking lines, is included in the scope of delivery. Camera input 1: 4-pin mini-DIN coupling, suitable for CS...L cameras or the MCA29004 cable. With the optional CSZ102M adapter, it can also be used for cameras with a cinch connection. Camera input 2: Cinch coupling for universal use
